Vacancy: Research and Development Director
Banner Pharmacaps Europe, part of the USA based Banner Pharmacaps Group is looking for a research and development director in Tilburg. Banner Pharmacaps is a global drug delivery and proprietary healthcare products organization. Banner researches, develops, produces and sells unique softgel and soflet gelcap dosage forms for the pharmaceutical and nutritional industries.
The job
As R&D director you will be accountable for leading and directing Banners European Research and Development Team to develop new products, technologies and formulations of oral drug delivery for human health care. Your key-activities will be:
· Establishing and implementing global and European product leadership strategy.
· Developing and utilizing innovative technologies and products to enhance their market position.
· Establishing a regulatory strategy for new products and enhancing implementation.
· Ensuring effective communication and decision making with respect to costumer and global R&D projects.
The candidate
· You have a Pharmacy or related degree, preferably with a PhD in pharmaceutical technology.
· You have extensive experience in leading R&D groups and have a proven track record for successful pharmaceutical and healthcare product development.
· You are a proven leader and motivator with good writing, communication and presentation skills.
· You are willing to travel frequently within the EU and 2 or 3 times annually to the USA.
